Easy Chicken biryani recipe at home    

  Today we will try how to make easy chicken biryani recipe at home. Biryani is a Moghlai dish. But it’s a very famous food all over the world; almost everyone knows what this food is. It is popular because of its fragrance. it has a tempting aroma so this dish attracts most people.

         It’s one of the royal dishes of the mughals, but now that biryani is made in many different ways in many places. For example, some places use potatoes and some places use curry leaves. Some places have more spices spicy.

         We hear Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Hyderabadi biryani is steamed with rice on raw chicken and tends to be a little spicy.

         There are many types of biryani like beef, mutton , chicken and seafood . Today we will learn how to make Chicken Biryani.

              If you want to make biryani at home, I would suggest that you make biryani spice powder at home very easily. Then the biryani test will come like a restaurant.

Ingredients for chicken biryani spices:

  1. Cumin seed———-1 tbs
  2. Fennel seed———1/2 tbs
  3. Star anise————1pic
  4. Cloves——————–10-12pic
  5. Black pepper——–1 tbs
  6. Black cardamom—1 pic
  7. Green cardamom—10-12pic
  8. Mace ———————–2 pic
  9. Nutmeg——————-1/2 tsp
  10. Cinnamon stick—–1pic

These spices should be powdered well. Divide the powder into parts and separate them in two bowls and set aside.

Ingredients for chicken biryani :

  • Rice—————————————1kg
  • Chicken———————————1kg
  • Onion————————————–5pice
  • Oil——————————————250ml
  • Whole gram masala————–15gm
  • Salt—————————————-4tbls
  • Kashmiri chilli powder———-2tbls
  • Chilli powder————————–1tsp
  • Ginger pest—————————–2tbls
  • Garlic pest——————————2tbls
  • Curd—————————————-200gm
  • Mint leaves——————————10gm
  • Coriander leaves———————10gm
  • Kawra water—————————-2tbls
  • Mitha athar——————————-2drops
  • Saffron————————————-1 gm( It’s optional)
  • Milk —————————————-100ml
  • Ghee(Clarified butter)————50gm

  • Chicken marination:

          The chicken is marinated before, the test is very good. Take the chicken in a pot and mix salt–2tbls, Kashmiri chilli powder—2tbls,Chilli powder—1tbls, Ginger pest —2tbls, Garlic past—2tbls,curd—200gm, coriander leaves—10gm, mint leaves—10gm, biryani spices(Made before)—30gm and Kawra water—1tbls . And leave for half an hour.

  • Fried onion:

       First we have to cut the onion into small Julian cut. And fry the onions well with 200gms of oil till the onions turn brown. Then there will be a fried onion to keep the oil absorbing paper. And put a side.

  • Cook chicken for chicken biryani:

                 I will cook the chickens with the oil that is there after frying the onion           because that oil has the aroma of onion in it. Heat oil in a pan and add whole garam masala. Then pour the marinated chicken and add some fried onion and cook well. Chicken and spices may have a raw small if not cooked well. So the chicken should be cooked well for 15 minutes.                                         

                 First the rice should be soaked in water for 30 minutes. Lemon juice should be given for cooking rice as the rice will not break and turn white. And if you add oil, the rice will not stick to each other.   Boil 4liters of water in a pot with whole garam masala, 1 lemon juice, oil and 2 tablespoons of salt. When the water boils the rice should be poured into the pot. It should be noted that the rice is not overcooked; no more than 80% will cook.

  • Assembling for biryani :

You can easily make everything that is said in this chicken biryani recipe at home….. In a pot, spread rice on top with a little oil, Add Chicken and some brown onions and some mint leaf and biryani masala top of the rice. After that you have to make another layer of rice, again chicken. At the end of all should be given with a layer of rice.  And 1 tablespoon of kawra water, 2drops of mitha attar (sweet perfume), 50gm of Ghee (Clarified butter), and 30gm of biryani masala should be spread on rice.

        Finally mix the milk and saffron together, when the saffron colour comes out, pour the milk over the rice. Then the pot should be well covered. If necessary, make a dough with flour and close it well so that steam does not come out from inside. And keep on low flame for 20 minutes.This biryani recipe is very authentic. After 20 minutes you can serve Chicken Biryani with Raita and salad. It will be very tempting and delicious.
